Jana Lombardo, local Waldorf-inspired mom, brings you washable snack bags as the first necessary item for packing an earth-friendly lunch. She crafts a double layer, washable snack bag, with a cotton outer shell and nylon lining. To reuse, simply machine wash warm, tumble dry low or just wipe clean with a wet rag and air dry. Sold in two sizes, large approximately 7in by 7in and small 5.5in by 4. Jana also offers 100% cotton cloth napkins, which are 6in by 6in. Prices range from $4 to $6 each. Jana’s products are available via Pixie Stix Kids Consignment and the Made Local Market Place.
A Toy Garden also offers lunchskin reusable baggies and cloth napkins. Sono-Ma especially loves the Kid’s Bolga Baskets (similar to photo shown above) featured by A Toy Garden. While you are surfing this site, check out the Kleen Kanteen stainless water bottles and stainless steel food containers, too! (Click on links for product descriptions.)
